Taking a different route north we got another view of the oil tank fire from many miles away. Looked like it was out at one point then this new smoke column came up.
Another of the many storms we tangled with today.
Finally hit Dodge City at 5:30 and was greeted by a beautiful lake side campsite and cloudless skies. To my surprise we found that Dodge City appears to be a mostly Hispanic town. That suited me fine as the restaurant choices were right up my alley. Found a real authentic Mexican Cafe, one of very many around town.
