This site started out as a way to track a BMW / Jupiter Sidecar motorcycle project. It has gone in many different directions since its' conception. From motorcycle projects, to personal stories, opinions and family histories. I log most of our boring motorcycle riding adventures and experiences. I have completed my "R100S/6" build and changes are on-going.

New Mexico
Well, we are now in Northern New Mexico.
Fate (and my job) has placed us here for the next few months.
We'll be working in 14 (or so) different National Parks over the next couple of months. Hope to get in some riding time, but the sidecar rig needs attention...need to change out the rear tire, not a big deal...have a new one with me. Main issue is a growing left side pushrod tube seal leak that is getting BAD.
Pulling the cylinder out requires removing the exhaust header....which also means removing the sidecar subframe....which means removing the sidecar......PITA. I can acheive this scenario in a long day but after working 60 - 80 hours a week my motivation level is poor.
I have a nice running Honda Goldwing sitting here...need to talk my Wife into riding pillion on the Honda! I'm working on it!
